Glad you had an amazing time! Is it the kind of convention non-authors would enjoy? Like just as someone who likes writing and is re-entering reading, would AWP be fun, or would it all go over my head?
The panels are all geared toward writers, and specifically writers who are looking to be published, but the book fair is a reader’s paradise! That said, it’s pricey if you’re only going for the book fair, and there are free book festivals that have a similar vibe. I love the Brooklyn Book Festival, and I’ve heard great things about the Texas Book Festival. I haven’t been (yet) but there is also the Printers Row Lit Fest in Chicago!
So lovely to see you there (and always)!
Ananda! I’m so glad I saw you — just wish it weren’t so brief! ♥️
Gah, I had so much fun with you!
