Novel Mood Board

I’ve been keeping a secret novel mood board on Pinterest for a while. I mostly use it to save images that I come across during my research and want to remember. I have a filing system for entire sources I want to save, but this is more for visuals that spark something.

Then I realized, this doesn’t really need to be secret? Perhaps other people might find it interesting? So here it is. It’s a weird mashup of Rockford and Bauhaus history, with a smattering of Annemarie Schwarzenbach.

Lately I’ve been feeling a little lost in the project, but returning to these images reminds me of what drew me to my subjects in the first place.
